Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, posting daily transactions, and managing account reconciliations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely collection of receivables to maintain optimal cash flow.
Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, contributing to Fika Consultancy’s accurate financial overview.
Expense Tracking: Monitor company expenses, verifying supporting documentation to ensure accurate allocation to respective departments.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Enter financial data accurately into accounting software, maintaining well-organized records for audits and financial analysis.
Support Month-End Closings: Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Audit Preparation: Support the preparation of documentation and records required for internal and external audits.
Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to meet deadlines and support overall financial operations.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Some experience or internship in an accounting or finance role is preferred, though recent graduates with a strong academic record are also welcome.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or SAP).
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reporting.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial information effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to varying tasks as needed.
