Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide first-line IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
System Maintenance: Ensure the smooth functioning of computer systems, servers, and network equipment through regular monitoring and maintenance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems, minimizing downtime and ensuring user satisfaction.
Software Management: Install, update, and maintain software applications and licenses.
Network Administration: Configure, monitor, and secure LAN/WAN networks, ensuring optimal connectivity and data security.
Data Backup: Implement and manage regular data backup and recovery processes to safeguard critical information.
Security Measures: Enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect systems from unauthorized access and threats.
IT Asset Management: Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software assets, ensuring proper documentation.
Training and Support: Provide training to staff on IT systems, tools, and best practices.
Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors to procure, install, and service IT equipment and software.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role, preferably within a consultancy firm.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
Skills:
Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
Knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS).
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
