Fika Consultancy is looking for a Desktop Engineer to provide technical support and ensure seamless IT operations. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing system upgrades, and ensuring the efficiency of desktop environments across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
Ensure network connectivity and troubleshoot minor network-related problems.
Manage system updates, patches, and security configurations.
Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking.
Provide support for remote users and resolve technical issues.
Document technical procedures and provide user training when necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Experience with troubleshooting software, hardware, and network-related issues.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
