Fika Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles who is eager to grow in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and transactions.
Prepare invoices, process payments, and reconcile accounts.
Support in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Maintain ledgers, financial statements, and expense reports.
Assist with tax filings and compliance with local regulations.
Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash transactions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Support senior accountants with financial audits and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a consultancy firm.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
